Who we are:
Jim Peake
Mr. Peake’s experience begins in the graphic arts with direct mail printing and letter-shop fulfillment. Jim began his career selling sheet-fed and heat-set web offset printing and eventually started his own print brokerage, Peake Graphics, Inc. He moved into the Internet when he saw the promise of online direct marketing. Jim sold several e-commerce web sites including Prudential Securities, Oppenheimer Funds, Nine West Shoe Company, AOL and the CASIE Award winning site Kasparov vs. IBM’s Deep Blue Chess event online. This was the site that put the Internet on the front page of every newspaper around the world in 1996. Since then Jim created a product called v-Reg a speech recognition, database and IVR solution that is a stand alone warranty and product registration product. Jim sold v-Reg to Hewlett Packard, Procter and Gamble, Holmes Products, Equifax, AON Warranty and several others. Jim is currently a student of personal development and a professional Internet marketer.
Bill Samson
Mr. Samson’s experience with data products began with the development, deployment, sales, and marketing of the first electronic registration business started in 1994 as a small offshoot division of IntelliQuest Market Research in Austin, Texas, and culminated in a $40 million line of data products with Naviant Marketing Solutions. Bill built and deployed the largest direct marketing consumer database file of Internet households in the United States, Naviant’s HiTech Household file. This database leveraged the largest outsourced electronic customer registration business in the world, with successful customer registration clients encompassing most major PC manufacturers such as Compaq, Hewlett-Packard and IBM, and NEC, as well as many major software and peripheral manufacturers such as Canon and Adobe. Bill was responsible for leading all sales and product strategy for Naviant’s entire line of direct marketing and data products. Bill’s efforts in the deployment of unique data products resulted in numerous valuable relationships that allowed Naviant to take their registration division into the broader category of non-technology consumer products. The value of products like eCD and the HiTech Household file are exemplified by the resulting purchase of Naviant by Equifax in 2001 for $135 million.
